On Women's Veterans Day, June 12th, our Oldest Member Debra Stern was one of many honored by Florida Atlantic University. She drove trucks in WWII. Every June 12th, we honor all of our sister Veterans for their service and sacrifice.

Did you know that Sunrise Fire Rescue's division of Emergency Management has trained more than 250 CERT volunteers since 2008? It's #CERTweek nationwide, which is another great chance to acknowledge the dedicated volunteers and professionals who help Sunrise in the event of disasters, seek community outreach opportunities, and in some cases sign up to be deployed to aid other cities and states in their moments of need. Thanks for all you do!
